Four people have been arrested after police uncovered a suspected chop shop.

West Midlands Police received reports of a car being stolen from Solihull on Sunday 16 August, and it was tracked down to a premises on Cato Street, Birmingham.

Traffic officers attended and arrested four people on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

While carrying out searches officers found several vehicles stripped of parts along with further stolen vehicle parts.

Further searches were carried out at home addresses where over a dozen car keys for suspected stolen cars were found.

Two men aged 32, a 27-year-old man, and a 17-year-old boy were all arrested.

Two men and the boy have been bailed pending further enquiries into the investigation.

The 27-year-old man was passed on to immigration officers.
