Solihull teen charged with 19 offences

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with 19 offences following an investigation by Solihull Neighbourhood Crime Team.
The teenager was arrested on Wednesday in connection with a series of alleged crimes across Solihull.
He has since been charged with seven counts of burglary, nine counts of theft of a motor vehicle and three counts of attempted burglary.
West Midlands Police confirmed the boy has been remanded in custody and was due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The charges follow an ongoing effort by officers to tackle burglary and vehicle crime in the borough.
As criminal proceedings are now active, no further details about the case have been released.
