Solihull School celebrates best-ever A Level results

Students at Solihull School are celebrating the school's best-ever A Level results, with 88 per cent of all grades awarded at A* to B and 63 per cent at A* to A.

A total of 77 students achieved three or more A* to A grades, while 96 per cent of students secured a place at their chosen university.

The results were celebrated by students across the independent co-educational school as they prepare to take their next steps, including university, apprenticeships, gap years and employment.

Charles Fillingham, executive headmaster of Solihull School, said: "This is another outstanding set of results from a fabulous group of students who have been well nurtured and guided by our excellent and committed staff.

"We wish all 184 students well as they embark on their next chapter, whether at university, engaging in an apprenticeship, enjoying a GAP year or entering the world of work."

Solihull School is a 3-18 independent co-educational day school and was named the Sunday Times Independent Senior School of the Year for the West Midlands.

It was also named TES Independent Senior School of the Year in 2024.
