People across Solihull are invited to gather at Tudor Grange Park this weekend for Under the Same Sky, a free community arts celebration bringing together months of creativity, storytelling and performance.

The borough-wide project, led by Autin Dance Theatre in partnership with Solihull Council, has seen residents take part in kite-making, dance and creative workshops exploring themes including identity, belonging, hope and shared experiences.

On Saturday, October 3, participants will parade through the park carrying colourful handmade kites in a community procession featuring music and movement. The procession will culminate beneath Autin Dance Theatre's impressive seven-metre aerial rig for a performance of Up in the Sky.

Performed by six artists, the non-verbal aerial dance production uses movement, music and visual storytelling to explore themes of displacement, resilience, connection and finding a sense of belonging.

The family-friendly event is free to attend and offers visitors the chance to enjoy live performance, celebrate local creativity and connect with community groups from across the borough.
