Birmingham Dogs Home country music festival

Country music fans are invited to Birmingham Dogs Home's first-ever Mini Country Music Festival in Solihull on Saturday, August 22.

The fundraising event will feature live performances from artists including Kassidy Kiernan, Two Ways Home and Buckle 'N' Boots, alongside line dancing, a bucking bronco and family activities.

Visitors can also enjoy food stalls, a licensed bar and shopping stands throughout the evening.

The festival takes place from 5pm to 11pm at Birmingham Dogs Home on Catherine-de-Barnes Lane, with all proceeds helping to support homeless and vulnerable dogs across the West Midlands.

Tickets cost £25 for adults and £10 for children and must be booked in advance.

The Core Outdoor - The Tales of Peter Rabbit

Quantum Theatre returns to Solihull on August 22 with an outdoor adaptation of Beatrix Potter's beloved tales Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny.

The family-friendly show follows the mischievous pair as they sneak into Mr McGregor's garden and find themselves in a series of scrapes and adventures.

Taking place at Brueton Park, the production invites audiences to bring a blanket and picnic and enjoy an afternoon of outdoor theatre.

Blossom & Belong CIC Fundraiser

Blossom & Belong will host a family fundraising fun day in Solihull on Sunday, August 23, to help raise money for a prom night for the girls it supports.

Taking place at Hatchford Brook Family Hub from 1pm to 4pm, the event will feature a free bouncy castle, sports activities, games, prizes, food and pocket-money games.

Tickets cost £1 when booked online or £1.50 on the door.
