Teenager charged with 13 offences following Solihull crime investigation

A teenage boy has been charged with 13 offences, following an investigation into a series of incidents across Solihull.
The 16-year-old was arrested by West Midlands Police's Solihull Neighbourhood Crime Team on Thursday 2 July, as part of an inquiry into a spate of burglaries in the borough.
Police said the boy had been charged with a total of 13 offences, including burglary, attempted burglary, criminal damage, affray, theft of a motor vehicle, robbery, and possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared before Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Friday 3 July, where he was remanded in custody.
The teenager is due to appear before the court again later this month.
West Midlands Police has not released any further details about the incidents at this stage.
