Man arrested for murder after Solihull disorder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man died following a disorder in Solihull.
West Midlands Police were called to Shustoke Road shortly before 9.25pm on Saturday, September 19.
Officers found a man in his 40s in the street with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 38-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both remain in custody for questioning.
Police said their thoughts are with the victim's loved ones and that support is being offered to his family.
A police presence remains in the area while officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
