Solihull Food and Harvest Festival

The Solihull Food and Harvest Festival will take place across the town centre from September 25 to 27.

Hosted by Solihull BID, the three-day event will feature live music, street food, an artisan farmers' market and family-friendly activities.

Highlights include performances from 17 local choirs, a new Barn Dance Festival Day with free line dancing tuition, and a town-wide scarecrow trail.

Visitors can also browse produce from local traders and enjoy entertainment throughout the weekend.

Harvest Saturday at Packwod

Families can enjoy orchard tastings, seasonal produce and hands-on activities at Harvest Saturday at Packwood House.

Visitors will have the chance to sample a range of named apple and pear varieties freshly picked from the orchard and discover a new favourite, with fruit available to take home in exchange for a donation.

Fresh vegetables harvested from the Kitchen Garden will also be available, while families can get involved in seasonal activities including making a herb pillow, identifying different herbs and creating a bird feeder to help local wildlife prepare for the winter months ahead.

Harvest Saturday takes place at Packwood House from 10am to 3pm.

The event is free to attend, although normal National Trust admission charges apply.

Oasish

Oasis fans can relive the music and story of the Gallagher brothers when award-winning tribute band Oasish brings The Rise, The Rift, The Reunion to The Core Theatre.

The live concert celebrates the band's rise to fame, the split that ended Oasis in 2009 and the solo success of Liam and Noel Gallagher.

Featuring authentic instruments, synchronised video footage and performances of the band's biggest hits, the show recreates some of the most memorable moments from Oasis' career.

Divided into three acts – The Rise, The Rift and The Reunion – the production has entertained thousands of fans at venues across the UK, including Wembley Stadium and Knebworth House.

Oasish takes to the stage at 7.30pm on Sunday 27 September. Tickets cost £27 plus a transaction fee.
