Solihull Pride is set to return to the town centre this weekend, bringing a day of live entertainment, community activities and celebrations to Mell Square and surrounding venues.

The event, organised by Solihull BID, will take place on Saturday, 8 August, following a successful debut in 2025 that attracted thousands of visitors.

Mell Square will once again host the main stage, with entertainment running throughout the day.

Event host Phil Oldershaw is returning for this year's celebrations, while a number of town centre venues will also be taking part with entertainment, special offers and safe spaces for visitors.

The RR Events Continental Street Market will also return, offering a range of food, drink and stalls representing the LGBTQ+ community.

Solihull Pride aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ people, allies and residents, while celebrating diversity and promoting equality across the borough.

Last year's event transformed the town centre with a colourful parade, live performances and a bustling street food market.

Building on that success, this year's programme is expected to once again bring the community together for a day of celebration and entertainment.

The event is supported by headline sponsors npower Business Solutions (nBS), E.ON Next and E.ON, alongside Paragon Bank, Solihull College & University Centre, Muse, Touchwood and Howden.

Solihull Pride is free to attend, with activities taking place across the town centre throughout the day.
