Families looking for ways to keep children entertained during the October half-term break can enjoy a range of autumn and Halloween-themed activities at National Trust properties across Warwickshire.

The conservation charity has unveiled a programme of seasonal events, including interactive trails, nature-inspired crafts and digital adventures at Baddesley Clinton, Packwood House, Upton House and Gardens, and Charlecote Park.

At Baddesley Clinton, young visitors can take part in the Who's In Your Book? children's trail, inspired by Tom Fletcher's popular book series, while older children can enjoy the Stranger Folk Digital Adventure, an immersive app-based experience set within the estate's grounds.

Packwood House will host its Mystical and Magical Woodland Trail from 24 October to 1 November.

Families can follow the Welly Walk, search for hidden autumn treasures, build dens and discover themed craft activities, with a prize available for children who complete the trail.

Meanwhile, Upton House and Gardens is inviting youngsters to get creative with Halloween Nature Crafts between 26 and 30 October.

Children will be able to make spooky seasonal creations using natural materials, including bouncing bats and leafy jack-o'-lanterns.

Charlecote Park will feature two family-friendly adventures during the school holidays.

Pokémon fans can take part in the Pikachu Art Adventure, celebrating 30 years of the Pokémon Trading Card Game by discovering illustrated Pikachu cards around the estate and designing their own card.

Visitors can also enjoy the Stranger Folk Digital Adventure.

National Trust said the activities aim to encourage families to explore the outdoors and enjoy the sights, colours and wildlife of autumn while taking part in seasonal fun.

Most events are free with normal admission to the properties, although some activities carry an additional charge.
