Man charged over £100,000 fraud in Solihull

A Solihull man has been charged over allegations of fraud involving around £100,000.

The 48-year-old was detained at an address in Solihull yesterday morning (July 7).

Mohammed Choudhury, of Widney Manor Road, has been charged with five counts of fraud by false representation under the Fraud Act 2006, in relation to personal banking and credit card fraud.

He was remanded in police custody and is due before Birmingham Magistrates Court today, West Midlands Police confirmed.
