A swing concert raising money for end-of-life charity Marie Curie is set to take place in Hampton in Arden next month.

Skyliners Big Band will perform at Fentham Hall on Saturday 31 October from 2pm to 4.30pm, with proceeds supporting the charity's work across the Midlands.

The 16-piece band will play a selection of swing music during the afternoon event, which will be held at Fentham Hall on Marsh Lane.

Tickets cost £12 and will be available on the door.

Free parking is also available on site.

Leela Doherty, Marie Curie community fundraiser in the Midlands, said: "We are incredibly grateful for all local fundraising efforts.

"Marie Curie is dependent on fundraising and public donations, so we can continue to provide expert care and support to people living with any illness they're likely to die from, and those close to them."

Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with terminal illnesses, as well as their families and carers.
