Caffè Nero has opened at its new location in Birmingham Airport, offering passengers a brighter and more spacious place to enjoy food and drinks before or after their journeys.

The premium coffee brand, which has been a popular part of the airport's food and beverage offering for more than a decade, has moved a short distance from its previous location as part of Birmingham Airport's ongoing investment in improving its catering facilities.

The new café features expanded indoor seating alongside an outdoor seating area, allowing customers to relax and enjoy their drinks and food in the fresh air.

Open daily from 3.30am until 8pm, the café serves Caffè Nero's speciality handcrafted drinks, including its Classico coffee, seasonal single-origin coffees, and a range of deli food.

Early trading figures suggest the relocated café has already been welcomed by customers, with the airport reporting continued demand for high-quality food and drink options across the terminal.

Richard Gill, commercial director at Birmingham Airport, said the relocation had created a more welcoming space for passengers and staff.

He said: "It's great to see Caffè Nero making such a positive start in its new home.

"The brand has been a valued partner at Birmingham Airport for many years, so it's fantastic to see customers embracing this new space so quickly.

"The relocation has created a much more welcoming environment, with additional indoor seating and an outdoor area where customers can relax before or after their journey, which is proving particularly popular on sunny days."

Glyn House, managing director of Caffè Nero UK, added that the new store would help the company continue providing a high-quality service to airport customers and employees.

He said: "Birmingham Airport is a hugely important part of our airport business and is a fantastic partner for us.

"We have always loved serving the customers and employees who use the airport and the new store allows us to do that to an even higher standard."
