Drivers near Bickenhill are being warned of daytime lane closures as HS2 carries out landscaping work at a newly built roundabout.

The closures will affect the roundabout over the trace connecting to the A446 Stonebridge Road and A452 Chester Road.

They will be in place between 9.30am and 3.30pm each weekday from Monday, October 19 to Friday, October 30.

HS2 said the closures are needed to allow its workforce to safely complete essential landscaping activities.

Other lanes will remain open as usual, although drivers can expect some low-level noise while the work is carried out.

The works form part of HS2's ongoing activity in the area as the project undergoes a comprehensive reset aimed at ensuring the railway can be built efficiently and at the lowest reasonable cost.

HS2 said the reset is being carried out in stages and is expected to be completed during 2026.
